Bath time means very different things depending on who you ask, and over at @imbluethesiberian, that contrast couldn’t be clearer. Titan the Husky hates a bath, while his Golden Retriever brother Maverick thinks it is a spa day. Emma and Corey Moriarty share their lives with their pets, with over 2.6 million followers. This latest clip hilariously captures two very different personalities. One dog is singing the song of his people; the other is basically in zen mode while getting his coat cleaned.
Husky and Golden Retriever have strikingly different reactions during bath time
The video opens with Titan already standing in the shower cubicle, looking completely betrayed. As soon as the water hits his fur, he begins complaining at the top of his lungs. He lets out long and dramatic whines that sound like a plea for help. Dad starts laughing because the performance is just so over-the-top.
Titan the Husky screams about the bath, but his Golden Retriever brother loves it when it is his turn. The in-video text tells us that Titan thinks this is the worst day of his entire life. Maverick takes over the screen next, and the energy shifts immediately. He is the picture of total relaxation while sitting on the floor in the cubicle. He looks blissful as the warm water runs down his back.
Dad massages the shampoo into his golden fur, and Maverick just closes his eyes. He is soaking up every single second of this attention. He acts like he never wants the scrubbing to end. The footage cuts back and forth between the two polar opposite reactions.
Titan is still screaming while Dad rinses his head. He looks like he is being tortured by the soap. Eventually, they both make it out of the shower and get towel-dried. Maverick is feeling very fresh, clean, and most of all, happy. Titan just sits there with a towel on his head, looking like a grumpy old man. Dad tells him it wasn’t that bad, and Titan basically calls him a “liar.”
You can see why this clip has over 117,000 likes already. One fan mentioned that their hearing was slightly damaged just from listening to Titan’s screams. But Maverick’s zen face more than made up for it, we’re sure.
