The couch is usually the best place for a nap, unless a massive dog decides to lie on you. Doug is an English Chocolate Lab from the @dougtheadventuredog account. Who literally can’t tell his head from tail. His mom, Olivia, walked downstairs to find a hilarious scene unfolding in the living room. This video captures their Labrador completely taking over the spot on his dad. Yes, you read that right, on the dad, not the couch. He is just sprawled out. He’s got his back end right in Sam’s face. And he looks extremely proud of himself.

It becomes really funny when Doug starts wagging his tail right against Sam’s head. Sam is laughing, but he’s also totally stuck. His arms are up over his head because there is no room anywhere else. “Don’t get him to wag his tail,” Sam tells Olivia while still grinning.
But even after being asked “Pretty please” to move, this Labrador just stays put on his dad in the video. He is heavy and solid. That’s just a trait of this specific breed. They just love being close to their people. Sam then just has to lie there and take the tail wags.
Doug stares him down from a few inches away. It’s just the funniest thing watching this Labrador absolutely smother his dad in the video. Sam says he is trying not to make eye contact. “I’m aware,” he grunts when Olivia points out the staring. “Came downstairs and found Doug spread out like this on Sam,” the caption says. It is definitely a full house now.
